Vintage 1920s Japanese Eggshell Porcelain Tea Cup & Saucer Wise Men battle somo sierro Bust: 38” aroundThis is a lovely old cup and saucer set made in Japan. The porcelain is eggshell like translucent and somewhat brittle. The cup is hand decorated with Japanese elders or wise men and finished in green. There are a few tiny defects a tiny edge chip to the saucer, wear to the mans face at the left on the saucer and a short tight hairline to the cup, all quite minor (see photos).
